Welcome to the Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School website. As the principal of Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School, I feel honored to have the opportunity to interact daily with the students and staff here at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School. It is the goal of the staff to create connections for student success at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School. We are wholehearted proponents of the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. We look forward to establishing relationships and connections between and among parents, faculty, administration, and the community.
Our staff will continue to focus on providing good first instruction through clearly stated objectives, structured student engagement, and multiple checks for understanding throughout each lesson every day. Faculty develop instruction that addresses diverse learning styles, diverse academic and learning abilities, and diverse home and cultural beliefs. We try to make learning relevant to each student and encourage student growth and learning by using different teaching and instructional strategies.
We also realize the importance of student connectedness at school for improved academic achievement to happen. We include many extracurricular activities which help to enhance student achievement including art, music, athletics, extracurricular social activities, and clubs. We look forward to the partnership that we can create with the various members of our Joneboro-Hodge Middle School community. We encourage parents and guardians to get involved in their child’s education through the various school committees, school events, parent meetings, and the parent internet viewer program.
As the principal, I encourage students and their parents to take advantage of the various opportunities at our school. Being involved in school activities will make their middle school experience even more enjoyable.
My office is always open, and my primary goal is to ensure that all of our students become productive, contributing members of society. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
